Came here with my son (27) after a frustrating visit to the Apple Store. As Jony Ive is leaving the company to form his own company we popped in to ask about the TAM, Molar Mac and the future of Rhapsody. The "genius" had no concept of NeXT or behaving Stepwise or of Sody at all. When directed to the NeXT tradey (trademark) page at next.com he flew upset and treated us poorly. I did not purchase a non-ADB NeXTStation Turbo in 1994 to be treated like this in 2019 by a person who has no concept of NetInfo.

After my initial frustration with Apple, my son calmed me down by asking me bluntly what I would do with Taligent. Having caught me off-guard I threw a question at him about the NS-prefix found in OPENSTEP. He countered with a question/anecdote about YellowBox on Windows NT.

As we cried a little for the rapid demise of a the Rhapsody community, my son suggested we take legal action against NeXT Europe under the GDPR, I was reminded of the weekend spent at the NeXT office in Oxford in 1995 and how my son and his mother (RIP) had enjoyed the hospitality.
