Friendly Toast, Boston

Came here to keep an eye on my son (25) on a date he was going on with a woman from the chat rooms (24) -- he likes me to watch over him when he dates and I'm always there to verify details should he steer the conversation towards St. Elsewhere or Mannix. I have a snowglobe of Boston in my backpack just in case, along with a spare battery for my Samsung Galaxy S3.

As I drank coffee and kept a watchful eye on my son, I glanced briefly at the menu but my attention was drawn to the Wikipedia entry for Chicago Fire and the countless small errors within. As I set about correcting the page, my son's date went to the restroom so I was able to share the editing task with my son as we share a Wikipedia account. He set about some of the minor edits while I did some heavy restructuring of the characters section. I sent an updated version of the page to the Chicago Fire fanpage on Facebook and noticed my GS3 was a little low on power. As my son's date returned from the bathroom I saw her glance at my phone and I sincerely hope she didn't see me getting into a heated debate on Facebook about the veracity of one of my edits. A short while later, my phone was charged and I headed to the bathroom as my son and date paid for their food and then left the venue. My son called a Lyft ride for us both to head to the ICA for an exhibition of Internet Art.

Hot coffee. Didn't try the food but my son said it was good and he has celiac disease.

5 stars.
